Position Description:

Expedia's Media Solution Team is looking for an exceptional individual to help grow our EMEA performance media business. We’re seeking an outstanding seller with a track record of success , preferably with online media and/or travel sales experience. The successful candidate will be an all-star consultant and a highly dependable team player.

Responsibilities:

•Responsible for proactively selling online advertising programs via telephone through cold calling, lead qualification and inbound call management
•Negotiate and sell online advertising campaigns to Expedia’s Hotel partners via telephone
•Demonstrate product functionality
•Recruit advertisers to participate in a self-enrollment media programs
•Answer incoming calls from media kit and sales leads
•Qualify leads by exploring the opportunities with each contact
•Describe advertising programs and sell their benefits
•Requires a high volume of phone calls both outbound and inbound
•Requires the ability to overcome objections and close new business
•Substantial sales experience (inside/outside) sales

Critical Skill Sets:

•Consultative sales and relationship building skills
•Ability to collaborate and work cross-functionally


Qualifications:

- University Degree
- Excellent English knowledge (written and spoken)
- Multi-lingual (at least two of French/Spanish/Italian languages)
- Previous online travel experience
- Exemplary sales/prospecting experience and the ability to work in a non-defined role but play a key part in defining it
- Proven track record of successfully selling media or travel. Ability to sell both direct and to media agency
- Outstanding communication, sales and negotiation skills
- Outstanding analytical, numerical and problems solving skills. Ability to learn quickly
- Strong understanding of online advertising and e-commerce
